We will like to profile one of Liberia veteran Music Director. Min. Gurley is a Liberian gospel music Director, Singer, producer and songwriter who Started singing soprano in his mom’s church senior choir (freeway Baptist church) at age 8. Upon his graduation from high school, He traveled to Nigeria and attended the Yaba Technological junior college in Lagos, where He read music and sound engineering, and later obtained an Associate degree in 1998. Min. Gurley serve as Music Director of the Union Baptist Church choir in Danane Ivory Coast from 1999 to 2002. In 2003 He moved back to Liberia and served the Ark of Jesus Christ Church in Jacob Town and served as music director from 2003 to 2009. Meanwhile, upon his return from Ivory Coast, He also worked as music producer at the LNS studio located on peace island in ,Paynesville, Liberia and was the direct assistant to Music Producer Tom Holder. During his time at LNS, they recorded and produced the most famous mixed Hipco music Album called HIPCO VOLUME ONE, an Album that brought some known Hipco Artists to the limelight… like NoyZ, Kilalu, Bennie Vee, just to name a few. In 2007, he established his own record label called FAMATTA RECORDS, a recording studio that brought Picado, Royal Pain and others to musical prominence in the growth of Liberian music.(Majority of the artists he produced were secular artists).
In AD 2008, He served as director of music for the winners chapel headquarter church in Liberia. In 2013 he left Winners.

He established the WAVES OF GLORY PRAISE MOVEMENT in May 2015, and later traveled to the USA in 2016 and has since been running the above mentioned music ministry as executive director
