We will like to profile one of Liberia’s youngest Gospel Musician. Meet Peter Stewart who also goes by the name ‘Pete’. A twenty-four-year-old, fast-rising gospel musician in Liberia. He’s well known for his gospel musical series. A signed artist of the Future Music Group (FMG). As much as he is a rapper, songwriter, and an upcoming music producer most of his followers know him as a pianist. His ability to convert regular musical notes to a melodious tune is both outstanding and such a ‘blessing’ as most people would say.
Peter is also a graduate of the University of Liberia with a BSc degree in Medical Biology and Chemistry and a Graduate of the Rev. Dr. Margaret Court Bible Training Center with a Certificate in Christian Ministry. Born in a family of two brothers and six sisters, Peter was brought up in a Christian family as his late father was a Pastor. He grew up loving God and experiencing His goodness throughout his life thus explaining his passion for spreading the gospel. His love for music began when he was just twelve years old which has now contributed to who he is today.
From one project to another, Pete took the gospel industry by surprise in the year 2020, he believes in the unity of the gospel artist in Liberia, thus explaining his intent on featuring them on his platform. From Christmas carols to old school hymns, Pete was able to target a variety of music genres in order to reach out to various audiences to which he has received responses not only in Liberia but in other places of the world. Up till today, his passion has proven to be quite influential to many upcoming gospel artists.
